About Our Doctor
Dr. Vito Clarizio was born Vito Giacomo Clarizio. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) in 1988. Dr. Clarizio started his own practice in Whitestone and has been in private practice in this location since 1989.
Dr. Clarizio strongly believes that it is vital to be up to date on all the advances in dentistry and is trained in safe mercury removal. He is also one of the first dentists in the United States certified to use the revolutionary FDA-approved Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure (LANAP®) for periodontal disease. This is a no-cut/no-sew painless procedure where patients have the benefit of virtually no postoperative side effects or pain. This procedure has been proven to regenerate lost bone from periodontal disease.
Dr. Clarizio is loved by both his patients and his staff. His core staff has been with him since the beginning of the practice. Dr. Clarizio has been married for over 35 years and has four children and three grandchildren. Dr. Vito Clarizio believes in providing high-quality general dental care to patients in Whitestone and the surrounding areas. Dr. Clarizio offers state-of-the-art dental care and procedures such as the LANAP® Laser Treatment, Dental Implants, Mini Implants, 6 Month Smiles, Invisalign, and WaterLase Dentistry.
